Position Summary This position is responsible for providing on-call, in-person social service crisis intervention counseling for families with children ages 0 - 17 years of age. Services are provided for evening, weekend and holiday coverage. May provide initial screening of child protection cases and initial face to face contact to ensure child and family safety and provide information and appropriate referrals. Qualifications BSW, BS, BA in Social Services or related Human Services. Demonstrated ability to provide the highest quality of customer service. Position works with Anoka and/or Scott Counties. Due to required response time, individual must reside within 60 minutes of the call area. Must be able to work assigned shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays with flexible hours. Must be able and willing to provide relief coverage when necessary. Preferred Minimum of 2 years in child protection, court services, human services or family counseling.
