Description:
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional who works under the supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA. At this ABA job level, the RBT is primarily responsible for direct implementation of treatment plans related to skill- acquisition and behavior reduction. RBTs also collect data and provide support when needed. Responsibilities and Duties Collects treatment plan data Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, center, and community based environments Applies feedback and training on Registered Behavior Technician performance given by the lead BCBA or BCaBA Provides behavior support inside and outside of the home or classroom when applicable Attends a variety of training sessions and other related company meetings Adheres to applicable laws, rules, and regulations specified by regulatory agencies Performs other duties as assigned Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals. Participate in team meetings and training workshops. Ensure that the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times. Minimum Qualifications Undergraduate or graduate students of psychology, social work and education Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently Registered Behavior Technician with the BACB Bachelor's Degree or 48 credit hours towards a Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred Experience working with children with developmental disabilities Experience working with children with behavior problems Excellent communication skills Services will be performed in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area of the following seven (7) counties: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington Counties Salary Commensurate with experience Job Posted by ApplicantPro
