Primary Duties: Perform remote and onsite diagnosis, resolution, and escalation of end-user incidents related to desktop hardware, applications, access requirements, networking, and mobile devices, while consistently maintaining high levels of quality and customer service Maintain accurate documentation of incident/service requests, troubleshooting, communications, escalations, and resolutions in the ticket tracking system Follow-up with customers to ensure satisfactory updates and incident closures Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add and Change) for hardware and software Provide asset Management maintaining inventory of all laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, and other IT equipment, complying with standards for deployment, collection, and disposal of assets Provide mobile device support for Microsoft Surfaces, iPads, and smartphones (Android / iPhone) Provide WAN/LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN communications support Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation of procedures Assist with IT security issues, malware/virus elimination Responsible for server maintenance including backups, server updates, security changes, Other duties as assigned Qualifications 2 years IT Support/Helpdesk experience required or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related in lieu of experience High School Diploma or equivalent required AA/AS degree preferred but not required BA/BS degree preferred but not required Prior experience with Microsoft Server Administration preferred but not required Network + Certification, preferred but not required Microsoft Specialist, MTA, MCSA, or MCSE Certification preferred but not required A+ Certified a plus but not required ITIL certification a plus but not required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have the ability to install and configure standard desktop hardware and software Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office applications, and general knowledge of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Active Directory Technical knowledge of supported platforms Windows 10 , Office 365, and iOS General knowledge and experience with telephony moves, add, change processes and videoconferencing systems Knowledge of ITIL processes and framework preferred but not required Good organizational skills, effectively prioritize and execute tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service orientation Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills Are you interested in learning more about our IT Support Specialist position?
