Background to the role: It is an exciting time in Zonal; we are on a journey to create the next generation of hospitality technology solutions and we would like you to join us. We want to create products that everyone will enjoy using. Our strategy is to re-invent the products that Zonal has built over the past 40-years. We have great functionality and the IP inside our products is awesome. We want to build User Interfaces that reflect the products of today and are intuitive and easy to use. Aztex+ is the first new technology that we are developing and we need your help. A whole new design, look and feel will bring our capabilities into 2020’s. The app will have all the standard ordering functions everyone expects but new features that really improve the way our customers can take guest orders. Over the next few months and years we wish to develop a standard UX/UI for all our products across the portfolio; so not only will you have the opportunity to build a product from new, you will have the challenge of modifying and modernising products that were created a few years ago. To lead the development of designs across the Zonal Product suite, drawing together each product into a consistent design system; serving a number of personas and embracing 21st century principles so far as possible. The Role: Good design is good business. We need an experienced UX and Design Lead, with a proven track record in designing user-centric app’s, to join our team. Reporting to the Strategic Product Manager, you will be working across several key customer touch points with variety of challenges to solve for the hospitality industry and its guests. You'll work with fellow Designers, Product Managers, Product Owners, BA’s & Developers to see design from inception to delivery. Ensuring requirements are met and consistent design is documented and followed. You’ll help individual projects to deliver the best experience to customers by helping stakeholders of all.
