JOB DESCRIPTION KEY OBJECTIVE: As a key member of the Financial Lines underwriting department, you will have the role of managing a book of renewal Cyber, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Media, Technology E&O, Excess Lawyers, and Employed Lawyers business, as well as developing and growing new business opportunities. As such you will play a critical role in the growth and profitability initiatives for this large specialty department. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Risk selection, coverage negotiation and pricing adequacy on renewal business, as well as managing key broker relationships. Identifying, analyzing, and developing sources of new Professional Liability/Cyber business opportunities, commensurate with Chubb's appetite and underwriting guidelines. Developing and establishing relationships with key local brokers and clients, including conducting broker meetings and training presentations on a regularly scheduled basis to ensure department goals and objectives are met. Providing technical leadership for underwriting/marketing of Professional Liability/Cyber business. Providing technical input in policy form development. Collaborating with team members to achieve customer satisfaction, profit, and goals. Interacting with senior management and product management on a regular basis for general underwriting direction and business strategy.
