Job Description: The IWS Completion Engineer is the primary resource for the Project Manager and Operations Manager / Operations team on all issues related to IWS technical support; operations technical support, tendering support, new technology, technology presentations and seminars, technical training, operations training, operations quality, operations performance investigations. Responsible for solving significant technical problems of high complexity and broad scope. Thorough understanding of materials technology and Engineering systems. Required to cultivate strong ties to Product organization as a source of technical expertise and solutions. Provide support for the Intelligent Well Systems (IWS) product line, technical selling, key field product applications, well prognosis, and/or completion product performance. Assist with new product market introductions. Investigates unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative action. Complete advanced product line training. Handles special projects, as assigned. Required to have a thorough understanding of customer needs and preferences combined with strong sales skills to cultivate strong customer relationships and exploit upselling opportunities. Required to create innovative cost-effective solutions. Responsible for implementing the strategic business perspective of the Project Manager and Country Director. Job Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent Operations experience covering deepwater Intelligent Wells System (IWS) applications. Extensive technical background and knowledge of the IWS Product Line; permanent down hole gauges, chemical injection, surface controlled chokes, feed through systems (tubing hangers, production packers), TEC / Control lines and protectors. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of multiple Completion product lines offered in Geomarket desirable.
