Addiction and Mental Health Worker, Housing Always Full-time, Permanent (Benefitted) London, Ontario - Application Deadline: January 16, 2024 - Every person in our community has the right to safe, affordable, quality housing and to live with dignity and as much independence and choice as possible. As a member of the Housing Always team, you will be supporting individuals who experience addictions and/or mental health concerns and have struggled with housing stability. Your team will be at the ready to provide early support and intervention, when clients need it most. By supporting clients in our supportive living apartments and through outreach in the larger community, you'll help prevent concerns from escalating to a point that would have resulted in eviction, accomplishing our goal of keeping our clients housed. Successful candidates must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check completed in the last six months. Interested applicants who reside in the City of London and are in need of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) are encouraged to apply for one as soon as possible as PVSCs in the City of London are currently taking approximately 2 weeks to be processed and offers of employment cannot be made without receipt of a PVSC. WHAT WE'RE OFFERING: What you'll be making - $22.33 - $25.71 per hour (Practicing Professional Grid) The above are initial rates; with grid increases as per policy Internal staff members will be placed on the appropriate grid based on their current rate of pay, up to Level 8 of the grid (See Intranet Policy - http: //bit. ly/Compensation Policy Pg16 ) When you'll work - 70 hours over two-week period, Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. What your benefits will be - After 90 day waiting period, will be enrolled in extended healthcare benefits plan Your pension plan - Immediately enrolled in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan.
