As a Costs Draftsman, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload and providing expert advice on costs-related matters. Your primary responsibilities will include: Deal with a variety of claims from fixed fee to high value and complex costs matters across commercial and personal injury litigation Attend Costs and Case Management conferences when necessary Preparing costs budgets, estimates, and bills of costs for various legal matters. Conducting negotiations with opposing parties to reach settlements on costs. Drafting Points of Dispute and Points of Reply. Attending court hearings and backssments. Assisting fee-earners with cost-related matters to ensure accurate recording and billing. Keeping up-to-date with changes in costs law and regulations.
