This position represents an opportunity for establishing a busy, professionally rewarding and challenging group clinical practice with dedicated healthcare professionals in an attractive and expanding hospital facility with a supportive and progressive administration. The anticipated start date is April 1st, 2024, or at a subsequent mutually agreeable date. The successful candidate will practice both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Clinical responsibilities will include Obstetrics and Gynaecology outpatient clinics, surgical gynecology, in-house obstetrical and gynaecology on-call. It is required that the candidate take an interest in developing greater expertise in any one of the following areas in order to support the department in providing ongoing access to care: perinatal substance use, early pregnancy management, vulvodynia, pessary care or mature women's health. Support for additional training is available depending on the successful candidate's preferred area of interest. The successful candidate will have an academic position description of Clinician Teacher and must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor at the University of Toronto.
