We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Student for our Calgary District, within our Canadian Buildings Division, that is available for 4 or 8 months starting in May 2024. As a Marketing and Communications Student and depending on your assigned tasks, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by: Responsibilities Assisting with the production and distribution of various written and visual materials for internal and external audiences, including photography, graphic design and page layout Reviewing and editing various internal documents and marketing-related material Writing copy for marketing materials, project profiles, resumes, award submissions, intranet postings, etc. Reviewing and updating the marketing database to ensure information is current and accurate Providing proposal support – sourcing and updating content from internal and external resources, assisting with design and document development Providing support to the Marketing and Communications team, as required Special assignments, as required Qualifications Strong writer and skilled editor Graphic design skills High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Highly organized self-starter Excellent computer, word processing, desktop publishing and researching skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with internal and external interested parties.
