Slitting Operators are responsible for setting up the machine, running production on the slitter, cleaning of the slitter and all maintenance on the slitting machines. £23,800 to £25,500 per annum depending on experience + pension + 22 days holiday + shift enhancements. Location Brackley, UK40 hours per week Shift System Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am So who are we? Put simply, e Pac provides digitally printed flexible packaging. Our core values are; Provide exceptional customer service Help our customers grow Support the communities and local businesses we serve Develop sustainable solutions Find out more about us at /manage/videos/714506378 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Identifies and ensures that proper materials and amounts are used for production Manages pre-run testing of the material to ensure the correct coding weights and bond strength are applied Cleans the slitter daily; organises machine and material parts during closing operations Prepares for production at the end of each day for the following day Spaces rotary blades on machine shaft, according to width specified on slitting work order. Loads material on machine supports and threads material over tension bar. Starts machine and observes flow of material through machine to detect irregular cutting and/or winding. Moves levers to stop, start, and regulate speed of machine and to align material with rotary blades. Disengages winding shaft and removes finished rolls of material. Wraps rollstock in poly liners using core plugs. Labels, palletizes and fills out manifest. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
