A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE In this financial position, you play an important role in our office. Each day, you come to work ready to ensure that we are properly paid and that our obligations are met on time. You are vital to the financial success of our company. Nothing gets by you as you oversee invoices and process payments. An organizer at heart, you also expertly manage crucial data entry. You often speak with our vendors, answer their questions, resolve their concerns, and maintain their files. You get great satisfaction in knowing your efforts keep our company running smoothly ! WORK SCHEDULE This position works Monday - Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE Background in accounting OR in accounts payable 3+ years of experience in relevant roles with progressive responsibilities Experience with Excel and QuickBooks Experience with general ledger functions as well as the month-end and year-end close process Ability to perform duties with consistent accuracy Ability to meet deadlines Able to work full-time in Hilton Head, SC A bachelor's degree in accounting OR a related field would be a plus. Are you analytically minded? Can you work well both independently and as part of a team? Do you have great communication skills, both verbal and written? Can you effectively prioritize your time while managing multiple tasks? Are you attentive to detail when processing financial reports and handling accounts payable?
