Job title: Logistics Operations Manager Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Location: Savannah, GA About GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC GLOVIS EV Logistics America, is an integrated logistics company located in Savannah, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 logistic, warehousing and inventory services to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). GLOVIS EV Logistics America was established on October 6, 2022, and we are looking for initial team members to grow with us. The purpose of this position is to manage and lead the operations department while participating in the continual improvement of all departmental projects. Responsibilities for Logistics Operations Manager : Manage SAP, GCS, JIS Operations and System Improvement Logistics plan and enforcement (New Business) CC management & plant logistics development KPI Management (report 15 KPI Subjects Monthly) Supervise Assistant Managers and Supervisors JIT/JIS Part management (location, inventory, shipping) Repack, Recycle, T/W Line management Floor/Sub-Contractor management Standardization of Consolidation Center Operations Employee Training (SOP, Safety, Process, Attendance) Management of manpower and overtime Head count requirements and time studies to evaluate needs of manpower Analyze policies and procedures for the company to ensure a standard and fair work environment Maintain plant safety, manage reports for recordable and lost work cases Root cause and corrective action for all issues Prepare and manage departmental budget All issues related operations report directly to COO (include investigating/analyze) 5s, Lean manufacturing principles Arrange a weekly meeting regarding operations issues Equipment / Facility Management (Purchasing, Repair, Maintenance, Report and so on) Qualifications for Logistics Operations Manager : Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred Experience working in Automotive Industry and knowledge of vehicle parts Ability to multi-task under pressure Detail oriented and data accurate Conflict resolution and Leadership skills SAP Experience PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
