The Server Assistant is the right hand of a server, providing a welcoming experience for guests by ensuring our restaurants and bars are kept clean throughout the day and set up properly. The server assistant works in a team environment to clear and reset tables quickly to maximize guest count and may also assist with delivering food & beverage to tables so service can be as prompt as possible. The server assistant will do various duties, e.g., filling bread baskets and water glasses. The Server Assistant is responsible for assisting in making guests feel welcome and comfortable in a clean dining environment. Primarily responsible for clearing away dirty dishes after guests have completed dining/beverage experience in a timely manner. Will stock all utensils, equipment and beverages as needed for service. Starting rate for the Server Attendant is $10.00 per hour, based on qualifications. Jekyll Island Parking Pass will be paid by The Westin. Standing for long stretches of time Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects Availability to work a variety of hours including evenings, weekends & holidays.
