Summary The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the conceptual design and project local permitting process. Also, the Project Manager is required to manage assigned projects in a safe, profitable, negotiates vendors, pricing, utilizing budgets, and schedule requirements in a timely manner. This role will work for the MOBIS Alabama, LLC. Savannah Plant (MAL-SV). About Hyundai MOBIS Alabama, LLC (Savannah plant) MOBIS Alabama, LLC. Savannah Plant located in Bryan County, Georgia. MAL-SV is the abbreviation of MOBIS Alabama, LLC (Savannah plant). MAL-SV is a Tier 1 supplier to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). Essential Functions and Responsibilities: (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.) Manage and monitor project schedules within budget guidelines, progress, and costs to ensure projects are completed on time and effectively. Manage the permitting and approval phase of the development process and ensures all proper approvals have been received prior to construction phase. Maintain, adjust, and update project plans as needed. Consolidate, communicate, and manage all issues and risks affecting the project. Communicate project status to project participants and stakeholders accurately and on time. Manage and coordinate all phases of the development process with Automobile Production teams and General Contractor. Schedule and lead development calls with all stakeholders. Monitor general contractor, and vendor performance through development phases. Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes Basic Qualifications: (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.) Required Education & Experience: Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in a role performing project management job functions for construction projects including permitting and approvals. Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Ability to work within construction database, reporting and order management software Valid and unrestricted driver's license required Must be able to lift to 25 pounds May require periods of travel and/or relocation Some job site visit travel is required Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold) Assignment location may include project sites and/or in the office Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen Proven interpersonal, communication, and time management skills Proven experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Fluent in both English and Korean Preferred Preferred Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field. In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered. Experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Metals, Plastics, Process Manufacturing highly preferred. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Working Conditions: Office setting, some walking and standing within and between buildings.
