Utah Community Action is seeking to hire a Weatherization Eligibility Worker . Come work for the agency that has been awarded Best of State 2022 for Best Public Preschool and Best Charitable Service Organization. This position earns a competitive wage of $18.00/hour . Qualifications Highschool diploma or GED required MS Office experience Proficient in English reading and writing Preferred Qualifications Bilingual Spanish or Arabic Preferred 2-Year degree (Associate's) or higher Job Responsibilities Responsible for determine client eligibility and maintain compliance for the Weatherization and Crisis assistance applications in accordance with Federal, State and Utah Community Action policies and procedures. As representatives of the agency, Weatherization staff are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and advocating for clients using a trauma-informed, client-centered approach. Assist in referrals to HEAT and other outside agencies, as needed. Provide education in energy-saving measures. Must monitor caseload and departmental reports regularly to ensure services are provided in a timely manner Conduct auditing on client applications to ensure services are provided in a timely manner within compliance guidelines. May be asked to assist in other program areas, such as client education, reporting, requalifying income, community outreach and mentoring. READY TO JOIN OUR NONPROFIT TEAM?
