Piedmont Advantage Credit Union is seeking a Network Administrator with a servant's heart and passion for making a difference to join our team. The Network Administrator is responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting the Credit Union's computer systems. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Deployment, management, audit and monitor changes to network access and the XP2 financial environment. Familiarity with the XP2 Financial Core, operations, troubleshooting, and management. Deployment, management and monitoring of all VMware vSphere 6.0 and the virtual machine environment, Domain controllers, servers, email access control, computers, printers, phones, tablets, smartphones, security updates and patches. Resolve user-reported problems that have been escalated by other Help Desk staff using available tools and following procedures and policies. Deployment and Management, monitoring and analysis; troubleshooting problems within the network including its hardware, software, and related systems; escalate problems to vendors. Familiarity with Cisco Blade Systems, routers, switches, and firewalls (i.e. Cisco UCS, Cisco Nexus Series, ASA 5500 Series, IDS) and VOIP configuration involving Genesys Phone Systems. Deployment and Management IBM P series servers. Hardware and OS troubleshooting, firmware and application installations. Back-up and restore operations for IBM AIX, Windows Server, and VMware Virtual machines using Zerto. Clear and concise communication with all levels of staff within the organization, appropriately set expectations, and protect privileged information. To be capable of, and willing to fully comply with the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, The Patriot Act, OFAC and all credit union policies and procedures relating to or arising from these laws and applicable government regulations. Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security. Performs other job related duties as assigned. Education, Training, Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Holds (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree). Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. Other Skills: Strong problem solving skills VMware and Remote Desktop Services Microsoft Sever 2008/2012 Active Directory Management/Group Policies Microsoft Office 2013/Office365 TCP/IP Networking 1-3 years Server Infrastructure. Ability to learn, understand, and work within specific client requirements Willing and able to adapt to changes in work environment, procedures, priorities, and job duties Willing and able to expand work hours to meet business needs, sometimes with little or no notice. This includes participation in the on-call rotation. Excellent customer service skills Strong verbal and written communication skills.
