Position Details Answer hospital switchboard: screen and refer calls; receive and direct the general public to appropriate place or department personnel; provide general information regarding Perham Health and Perham Living, as well as department functions and procedures and explain hospital regulations relative to visiting hours. Functions as an admissions/discharge clerk by preparing admission forms and fulfilling record keeping procedures. Be responsible for a variety of clerical and data processing duties including data entry of admissions, entering demographic updates, entering charges, and running reports. What You Offer Effective human relations skills and the ability to react calmly and efficiently in emergency situations. Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and act in a positive, professional manner. Must be able to pass background study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Work Schedule Full-time, 60 hours per bi-weekly pay period 12 hour shifts; 11:00 am- 11:00 pm Every third weekend; every third holiday What We Offer People join Perham Health for the opportunities and stay because of the culture.
