The Application Engineer will work directly with customers, sales and technical teams to develop solutions to upgrade and modify existing customer systems. The Application Engineer will develop proposals with accurate scope and pricing, taking into consideration the mechanical, civil, electrical, controls and process constraints of the current operation. The position will work collaborative with range of team including, Sales, Engineering, Services, Customer Care, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Project Management to support the creating of successful proposals. Develop solutions to customer challenges in creative ways. Work with sales teams and directly with customers, their engineering representatives, our Veolia teams to review existing facilities, identify unique constraints at site, and identify options that will solve the customers’ challenge. Develop scope documents to identify groups responsible for the range of work needed. Prepare quotes, cost estimates and final proposal documents for the customer. Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of common changes at customer sites and share lessons learned and best practices globally. Core Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university. Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in technical design, IT, scientific or other technical position. Knowledge of Zee Weed or other.
