Reporting to the Category Manager, the incumbent will support the development and management ofmerchandising programs as well as execution of category strategy. Key Responsibilities Specifically, the Assistant Category Manager will: Develop a deep understanding of designated categories, market trends and consumer behaviors Be accountable for the product, placement, pricing and promotion for items within their categories, consistent with each banner strategy Ensure promotions are keyed with accuracy. Ensure Pricing and costing is up to date in system. Respond to customer needs in their category, and is responsible for developing and executing customer-relevant.
