Learn more: www. shop. utoronto. ca Your opportunity: Reporting to the Director, Facilities Management, the Lab Tech 3 provides laboratory support and stores maintenance for the wet and teaching laboratories in the Faculty of shop. The Lab Tech 3 will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational needs for the labs; acting as the first point of contact for property and facilities issues; instructing ensuring that staff and students on lab safety procedures and standards; troubleshooting issues with lab equipment and routine equipment repairs; coordinating the use of lab space to ensure smooth operation of the facility including commissioning and decommissioning laboratory space; designing, modifying, and fabricating custom lab apparatus; and providing orientation to others on lab equipment,.
