The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Reporting to the Manager of Specialized Services, Clinical Specialists, the Clinical Specialist addresses key clinical issues by providing clinical expertise and leadership in the areas of clinical practice, consultation, supervision, inter-professional collaboration, education and training, quality improvement, and research. The Clinical Specialist provides leadership in promoting and maintaining excellence in the delivery of relevant, evidence-based clinical interventions within the integrated mental health and addictions (MHA) system. The Clinical Specialist, in alignment with and a champion of health care transformation, will be responsive to broad system needs, including embracing and leading change that improves flow, access, and treatment options for Manitobans. The position of Clinical Specialist functions in a manner consistent with, and supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of Shared Health. Experience Minimum of four (4) years’ clinical practice in community mental health/addictions services. Two (2) years’ experience in consultative or supervisory role. Skills and experience in staff training and development within a continuous learning environment. Experience working with multi-disciplinary staff and promoting inter-professional.
