Due to expansion, we are looking for a Shift Manager to support the day-to-day function of the production floor. As a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer you will play a crucial role in overseeing and maintaining heavy plant equipment, including large cranes, motors, and inverter drives on a metal finishing site. Due to the role being night shifts, you will be spending time working alone so must be able to work safely and efficient. Job Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance on cranes, motors, and inverter drives to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance. Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify and address potential issues before they escalate. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out effective repairs to minimise production interruptions. Collaborate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities in coordination with production schedules. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
