Clincial Psychologist - Oxfordshire Based Full time 9:00am - 5:00pm Duties/Responsibilties: To be a psychological support to the area social worker team and review existing plans to support mental health needs when appropriate and advise on the amendments needed to achieve sustainable outcomes. To work within the placement pathway; encompassing the edge of care service, backssment homes and residential homes and to work with multi-disciplinary professional networks offering backssment and mental health services to families, children and young people within the pathway. To contribute to both the development and structure of the Clinical Team supporting the residential and edge of care pathway To provide a highly specialist resource to the wider professional community. To contribute to the development of models of both backssing and working with families and young people within the area children’s social care and specialist edge of care and residential service. To provide expert and specialised psychological backssments and clinical interventions across the Corporate Parenting Service. This cohort may include children subject to child protection enquiries and child protection plans; children in need; Children We Care For formally known as Looked After Children by the local authority and families subject to care proceedings. To provide specialist psychological backssments of clients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of data from a variety of sources including; backssments of attachment security; psychological and neuropsychological tests; self-report measures; rating scales; direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, their family and carers, and others e. g. social workers involved in the client’s care. Requirements: Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology as accredited by BPSMembership of the Health and Care Professions Council HCPCAt least 2 years relevant.
